Practice eye contact in the mirror every day.

There was a way to improve your eye contact by practicing it in a mirror, spend 30 mins each day looking at your self in the mirror eye to eye, or look in one eye for a few mins then the other. Practice moving eye brows up and down and different smiles. Practice an angry face, happy face and different expressions in front of the mirror. Ive been spending some time becoming accustom to what people see in my face when i express different thoughts and im happy with what i see , so i dont feel any doubt when i look and talk face to face with other people. Since ive been practicing getting lost in what i see in the mirror , ive also started to enjoy just watching peoples facial expressions as they talk , ive become a better listner by being able to just be mesmerised by their eye contact and facial expersions. 3 P's Paleo, Primal, Parkour

Think it should be called the 3 P's Paleo food, Primal thought and Parkour movement. Just an idea of how these 3 areas could include better health. Paleo food s, keeping things natural and original . meat vegtables and fruits and water. Keeping foods simple and fresh and of high quality Primal thought , this is keeping life simple being happy with what one has got, not wasting money on junk getting out of the consumer mentality, being frivolous and resourceful. Keeping in mind the bigger picture and nature. Getting out and about, meeting new people. Having fun and also getting good quality rest. Understanding what the dangers are in life. Parkour , this is a movement art that defines the world as your play ground, using what is around you to train. Climbing , pulling jumping running ducking and weaving through the obstacles of the urban jungle. Parkour is not about treadmills and weight machines, but about using your own judgement to jump gaps climb objects and find new paths...

Primal fitness humbled by the basics.

Decided to start doing some primal fitness this evening .  I could squeeze 4 of the five movements. Thinking I would be at the level 4 already I thought as a warm up I would just do a set of the lowest foundation exersises, so with arrogance I got in to the starting position and to my disbelief o struggled to finish the full set. The aim is to master each movement before moving on. I am still on the basic set, my pressups felt flimsy. My squatting was awkward and my back and legs creaked. In the half plank position I trembled all over and felt loose after 60 seconds. Don't be fooled by all these fancy movements, get the basics down first, tomorow is going to be another play day as bodyweight goes, more focus on doing each rep well with good motivation, taking time to build the power in to each movement. Although number of reps is important , as I am at a foundation level, I thinly that its more important to learn each position well. Grease the groove, do allot of sets of low reps...

End of week 1 on the Primal foods

First impression Despite what you may read as allot of negative and unwanted results from this style of eating below, I believe that what I have felt this week has been a part of the process of coming of the coffee and junk and sugars, I've felt bad but its felt like a part of the process. As I look on the web of peoples results and stories I just think that the first week and possibly week 2 are just the shock to the system, I'm still going to give this way of living a long enough time to see if this is going to work for me. I feel slimmer although I've no way of weighing myself, I'm not doing this for how much I weigh, I don’t care, its more about body composition, i.e. how lean I am and how functional I am on my own 2 feet, how heavy I am is not the goal, I want to bring my fat ratio down I want to become more productive and motivated in my mind. Getting up early day 9 to day 12

Day 9 Monday 9am I was absolutely tired and worn out, I had spent all Sunday training parkour and running doing body weight exercise, plus the outside air, by the time I went to bed I slept when the alarm went off at 5am I heard it but I was worn out and my body was aching, felt more beneficial to sleep the extra 4 hours. This experiment on the few days where I have got up around the 5am mark has really run me in to the ground. Still try and get up tomorrow, I really felt better for the extra sleep, my arms and back of shoulders were really aching today. Day 10 Tuesday 5.30am Got up at early today, put on the trainers and got out the house, went for a jog. Had a bit of a run then some walking, felt really great jogging at that time , there was a few cars about and people walking around must of thought he’s serious. The air was nice and clean and it really blew the cobwebs out of the system, took a while to get used to. The iPod headphones kept falling out of my ears while I was jogging...

Waking at 5am on day 6 - day 8

Day 6 waking up at 5am Starting to wake up before the alarm goes off, this is a sign that my body clock is starting to adjust to the new wake up time of 5am, By 10 or 11 Pm this is the time that I need to go to sleep. How does this make me more successful, I supposed I can spend? This morning did not help as its been raining hard the sky outside is dark and black, Today the tv went on for some sound , and the computer came on for some entertainment, there is live channels on tv and its weird watching the same people who are on at this time of day. I am tired, but I'm not going to sleep this one today.  Six days I've been getting up really early and all its been so far is just a new experience, I think at the end of this I would have gained the skill of being to get out of bed even when I feel tired and my mind tells me not to. I am Trying to get up at 5am , day 5

I am Trying to get up at 5am , day 5 Woke up and got up at 5.30am, once again i had pressed snooze with out knowing three times. So got up at 5.30, which is still good going and allot earlier than usual. Very tired last night I went to bed at 1am , so only 4 hours sleep. I had breakfast and checked on all the usual sites, made a drink. By 6.15am I was running out of things to do and motivation, thought I may as well chill for a bit, fell asleep. Not at work till 11.30am today, so plenty of time woke back up at 9am. Not sure, this must be the 5 day hump. Day 5 being the day when all the initial, hype and motivation has worn off and it gets down to just doing it. Think this is where i'm at, I've done this by the book now i'm starting to feel it catching up with me. Need to change some things up if i'm going do this , just keep working on this 25 days to go.

Rising from Sleep, awakening early day 4 I am glad that I won an I-Pod Shuffle , the new Skinny 1 that looks like a memory stick while I was on my holiday. This morning doing a little bit of dancing about to wake up. Woop jiggle jiggle, wake up! Seems to be working, I pressed the snooze button twice, got up at 5.20am. The two hits on the snooze button were completely unconscious, its only at about 5.18 I caught myself and just got up. I forgot how nice it is just to have some music playing, it's almost time as well for the sunrise to happen as well. Wish my house was empty, even though I am up, there is things that would be easier to do like the cleaning if there wasn't people asleep all over the place. After this weekend, still getting up at 5am, I feel like im learning about how to manage tirdness, at the end of the day my energy is still high even at about 12am. I really enjoyed yesterday, it was like my own personal secret getting up early and working my day with the additional 2 hours at the beginning. As I am now up at its 5.20am something I read yesterday where, waking early seems to be just like shifting time zone is starting to feel like the case. I am having difficulty writing this blog right now I’m still half not with it. With the alarm going off at 5am the last two days it has caught me right in the middle of a vivid dream. Both times I have been in the dream stage at the time. Which is good because both days my dreams were almost like nightmares, so its good that they got interrupted. And I've had a chance to see what is running through my mind, at these points of my day. I would have usually had a dream gone back in to deep sleep then had another then woke up. So after yesterdays wake up time of the unusual early time of 7am and reading and writing about getting up early benefits over the course of that day it manifested in to the goal of waking up at 5am for the next 30 days. I've been struggling to get up early for many years always thinking of ways of doing it, so instead of trying to get up an extra 20 mins early or 30 mins , lets just completely burry this old habit buy getting up at 5am , this is two and a half hours early for me. Reasons and Health Benefits for getting up early in the morning So my next big challenge in life is to overcome my need to spend all day asleepand day dreaming, as much as i love a good snooze its almost a guilty pleasure that i love and hate at the same time, true its very comfortable laying arround for 2 or 3 hours snoozing and daydreaming, but at the same time i also miss out on those 2 or 3 hours a day activly working on my life. If i just had more time in the week then i would be able to do more with myself, the main part of my snooze thoughts is thinking and brainstorming ideas, but as im half asleep these strokes of insight and genius are soon forgotten, it would be better to just get up and write these ideas on some paper, and do a quick 20 minute's of brainstorming and mind-mapping. How am i going to get up earlier each day, learn to get up at 6am or earlier Latest goal to work on is how to get up early, there will be plenty of time too sleep when im dead. The goal getting up early and sleeping less , too much time. Just like the cold showers, they will probly feel bad for the first few weeks but then once i get them in to the system , it will start to feel bad by not getting up early. Seems to me when ever i want to do anything anymore i always get the question why arnt you drinking? Are you driving? No !! What the fuck, whats with all the booze, can i not just hang out and be social without all this money spent on drinking. Im not sure what it is just seems to thats all i get when i meet up with people. Drink Drink, and more Drinking. I've had enough of all this drinking and expectation to drink and get drunk. Some of my best sober nights would have been even better if not for all the drink pestering. I enjoy a drink when i feel like a drink but the majority of the time im in just a good frame of mind to not need a drink. When ever people want to see each other in my area, there is always drink involved. Do people hang out without drink, whats normal? I haven't seen any people for a while because im avoiding the drinking situations. If it involves just drinking then im out. you will be late if you press the snooze button

in order to stop hitting the snooze button , set your alarm for that momnet in time when you would panic and say “oh crap i need to go go” so the alarm is an alarm. if your gona hit snooze then just set the time so that snooze is not an option, then if you want to get up earlier it is due to your own natural choice and motivation rather than the buzz of the alarm going off. using this aproach i am starting to wake ealier naturaly as i am now trying to get up before the alarm goes off, rather than after it has made its anoying beep. "have given blood five times now" How I did it: when there is a session on, go in and ask to give blood. they will take your details , and test you too make sure your ok to give. you sit on a chair wait for your name. lay on a bed . they put a needle in your arm , you lay there for about 10 mins looking at the celing. you get up and get as many drinks and food as you need. then you leave. for about 2-4 hours you feel kinda stoned. ... do not drink alcohole after you will be destroyed.... easy to do though. they call you back every few months to do it all again. Lessons & tips: dont drink booze after , you will be very sick, drink lots of water , and rest put on some tunes when you get in and chill for the rest of the day. It took me 1 day. Back on the Cold showers again and starting to feel it

wooo , had a while where i went back on the warm showers, but now the boiler is broke im on the cold 1’s again, think the trick is just stand under the water and feel the pain, it lasts about 1-2mins then the water just seems to feel warm. not sure if this is the point where your skin just goes numb. then massage the cold water in to your skin. feels good the first 1-2 mins is the worst and also if you put your head on the water, you get the brain freeze feeling, and can be hard to open your eyes, your whole head goes numb See more progress on: take more cold showers

How to take more cold showers

"cold n chilly" How I did it: i take more cold showers now because as part of trying to achieve other goals i go to the gym and do more, a cold shower really cools me down and sorts me out. i think cold showers are cold , so no suprise when i take one they are cold. i just take a short cold shower of maybe 60 seconds just to quickly freshen up, or maybe a longer one when i get back from the gym and im too hot. Lessons & tips: if you dont like them dont put the water on the coldest setting just have them cool .  or if they are too much , just turn the water on for 20seconds then turn it off and maybe try and last 30 seconds next time . or alternate between hot and cold... or go straight in without thinking about it. or just do 1 part at a time.. there is lots ofways to go about it. they are just a bit cold at first Resources: cold / hot water. towel exersise shower It took me 13 days. Health Benefits of holding your nose while drinking. I had a whole pack of spirulina  and made juices packed with greens and minerals , the only problem was the difficulty getting them in to my system on a regular basis , the problem the taste, the spirulina drinks and some of my green vegtable juices just were too much for my taste buds, the flavor of spirulina is like mould or as described on the internet pond water. Some green vegtable juices just taste bitter and overpowering. Once they are in my system then they can go to work on doing the wonders to my body and health, but not able to get them in there because im struggling to force it down my neck. Floor Exercises Leg Stretching for Kick Moves Hip Joints power

Put on some relaxing music and spend an hour on the floor. Stretching and relaxing. Giving your legs a good Stretching, the videos and image will give you and idea of how to stretch your legs. Not in English ,but using these techniques to open up the range of motion in the hips, i particularly like the slapping on the legs and feet and massaging the toes. Spent 45 Min's gong through these exercises , think the thing to do is to relax in to the range of motion and also alternate with active tensing of the muscles in use. Stretching my legs out on the floor but also tensing and flexing the calf and leg muscles. Think this relaxes the muscles and also builds in the use of action in those new positions its about building up the leg strength for flexibility. When stretching to new angles the legs have not been used in those positions before so the muscles are not only stretched and tight , they also haven't got much understanding or muscle memory with what to do in these new positio...

How to improve the height and power of your martial arts kicks, Back kicks are a powerful kick , what i am trying to learn is how to increase the range and motion of my kicks, my leg kicks although have enough power to defend myself, the muscles on the back of my legs still feel tights and the speed and range of motion need allot of practice. Kick power is generated by the speed and force of a kick to the opponent, and to be able to have this power and speed you need to be in control of the balance and position of your body to enable the kick to move through the full range of motion and connect at full force. By being flexible with the spinning kick, you can easily use this spinning motion to hit the target in either the legs , ribs head or arms.
